The Centre for Food Nutrition and Health Research leverages the international research platform and multidisciplinary advantages of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, bringing together leading global academic resources and industry expertise.

Prof. CHEN Sheng serves as the director of the research cneter, and his team also includes Prof. XIA Xiaodong and ZHONG Yuyue.

Prof. CHEN attended the commissioning ceremony and signed cooperation agreements with companies.

Prof. ZHONG introduced the Food Nutrition and Health Research Center to Mr. Lam Tai-fai, Chairman of the Council of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and his entourage.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the Keqiao District People’s Government of Shaoxing City held an inauguration ceremony yesterday for the jointly established “Hong Kong Polytechnic University Shaoxing Institute of Technology Innovation” (the Institute) and unveiled the “InnoHub Shaoxing Entrepreneurship Center,” marking a new stage in technological innovation cooperation between Hong Kong and Shaoxing and opening a new chapter for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region. The PolyU Shaoxing Institute of Technology Innovation will focus on four research centers, with a focus on the development of smart textiles, modern housing construction, carbon fiber and composite materials, and food nutrition and health.
